It's not every year that Veterans Day falls on a Monday, creating a long weekend in the middle of November. If you're staying local (and I imagine many of you are), here are some things to do with your kids on Monday. And also, if you have a Veteran in your life, here are some restaurant specials to share with them!
Launch (Woburn) will be open 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. And, Veterans jump for free on Monday with up to two kids.
Veterans Day Parade (Winchester) starts at 10 a.m. and is a great way to honor those who have served our country.
The Village Playspace (Medford) has open spots for playtime, so grab yours now!
AMC Burlington and Showcase Cinemas Woburn have lots of great, kid-friendly movies playing during the day, which means you can score matinee prices.
Vinkari Safari will be open regular hours, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and offers 10% off for Veterans (this is all year, by the way).
