I don't know if we can ever repay those who have served for keeping us and our families safe. But, we can express our gratitude and Veterans Day is a perfect time to do that. Ways to celebrate include attending services and ceremonies (local events can be found here), visiting memorials, thanking a vet, volunteering for a veterans charity, donating to a veteran's cause, and flying the American flag.
Or, if you have a veteran in your life, perhaps you can take this as an opportunity to take them to dinner on this day. If so, here are some local restaurants with planned deals or celebrations.
