Let's be honest, who doesn't need a night out with their best gals? If you ask me, Galentine's Day is the best thing to come out of made-up holidays. No pressure for gifts, no one insisting you celebrate with brunch and only brunch (though, I do love brunch), no family obligations. I've spied a few local businesses marking the occasion with some fun events (adults only!), so I thought I'd share them with you below. Spots for these are limited, so act fast if you're interested! And, of course, there's nothing stopping you from making dinner reservations on or around Galentine's Day just because. :)
Galentine's Day Drag Show at The Ford Tavern
Cocktails, hilarious drag performances, food and prizes. What more could you want out a night out with your friends?
Galentine's Day at Nouvelle Maison Winchester
Wine, cheese and female entrepreneurship. All at Winchester's best new bakery: Nouvelle Maison. If you can't make it for Galentine's Day, I highly recommend checking it out (but early in the day if you're eying an almond croissant!).
Galentine's Day Brunch at Sam Walker's
If you have not been to brunch at Sam Walker's Tavern, Galentine's Day is the perfect excuse to finally check it out (and the ahem, French toast sticks). They're promising a fun, Galentine's Day-inspired playlist and food/drink specials, which is honestly all I need for coming up with a reason to go to brunch at Sam Walker's.
Galentine's Day at Lord Hobo Woburn
If you're a fan of paint and sips (or floral arranging and sipping), you'll love this event at Lord Hobo in Woburn. They have a night of coaster crafting planned using dried flowers and resin.
