Description
Near the Robbins Library is Arlington’s Old Burying Ground, established back in 1724 when Arlington was called Menotomy. In this program, Local History Librarian Steven Prochet will give a tour of the Old Burying Ground, profiling those buried in the cemetery like Jason Russell and Samuel Abbott Smith, explain what the purpose of the winged skulls are, learn how to read graves for genealogical research, and showcase Local History sources that discuss these figures further.
