Description
The Medford Recreation Department kicks off its 2023 concert schedule at the Riverside Avenue Plaza with Jittery Jack — aka Kevin Patey, former frontman for the Boston band the Raging Teens. For three decades, with musical partner Miss Amy Griffin on electric lead guitar, Jittery Jack has been creating roots rock ’n’ roll, rockabilly and traditional country music. Enjoy live music while eating take-out from one of the many great restaurants in Medford Square. Medford Brewing Company will be on hand to sell its craft beers. Other concerts in the series this month will feature soul singer Leon Beal Jr. (June 9), surf music from Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters (June 16), and Brazilian music from Receita de Samba (June 23).
