There are SO many events going on this weekend that it was really hard to cull it down into a few for this article. Don't see something that catches your eye? There may be something up your alley on my event calendar. I'm planning a birthday party for my kiddos on Sunday (with the help of some great local businesses, so be on the lookout for some pretty spectacular cakes). Pops Concert & Strawberry Festival (Arlington), Friday, 6 p.m.
This event is exactly what it sounds like - a concert accompanied by a strawberry (and ice cream) festival! What a great way to end a long workweek and get your kids moving.
Greek Festival (Arlington) and Greek Festival (Woburn), Friday-Sunday, 11 a.m.
There are TWO Greek Festivals this weekend... which is basically an invitation to eat all of the baklava you can. 💁🏼♀️ Both have varying hours and events, and both have shortened hours on Sunday, so check the times before you go!
Arlington Heights Spring Festival (Arlington), Saturday, 2 p.m.
Live music + activities for kiddos... sounds like a great Saturday event to me! You can enjoy this one at leisure by visiting businesses in the Heights district.
Grand Opening Party at The Village Playspace (Medford), Sunday, 9 a.m.
Have you heard? There's a new, much-needed indoor playspace in Medford. It's a great space with lots of toys for your kiddos to choose from. Where they can play independently doing whatever their hearts desire. Imaginary play? Check. Building with magnatiles? Check. Climbing? Check. To celebrate this awesome new space and welcome families in the area, The Village Playspace is hosting a Grand Opening Party with lots of great activities. You do need to buy tickets, so make sure they're still available before you go!
