The quaint shops, delicious food, fun playgrounds, and picturesque waterfront are just a few reasons to visit. Another reason dear to my heart, is this fundraiser to help build Inclusive Playground. Knowing some children in Newburyport who would benefit from such a structure, I encourage you to venture North on May 11, 2019 between 12:00PM and 5:00PM for this great cause!

This family-friendly fundraiser is a kick start to raising funds and awareness around Newburyport’s first inclusive playground. We’re looking for local businesses to donate gift certificates for the raffle or make a donation to our GoFundMe page.
There will be raffles, live music, child entertainment, including Newburyport’s beloved Theater in the Open, food from Metzy’s Taqueria and Cantina and more!

Inclusive playgrounds encourage children of all abilities to experience playing together. The proposed playground at Bartlet Mall will create a playspace that is exciting, challenging and fun for all of the children in our community.
