SHOW YOUR CREATIVITY AT BLUEMANGROUP BOSTON DURING FEBRUARY SCHOOL VACATION WEEK
Week includes added shows, FREE pre-show activities and special restaurant offers
BOSTON- BlueManGroup wants Boston families to get creative this February School Vacation Week and will be offering free art inspired pre-show activities appropriate for kids of all ages. The week also includes added weekday matinees and exclusive restaurant offers for ticketholders that will enhance the overall show experience.
From Feb. 18-24, BlueManGroup at the Charles Playhouse will host 18 shows, including added weekday matinees at 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm, that are great for families and visitors to Boston.
At these shows, kids and adults alike can get their creative juices flowing even before the show starts with face painting Monday, February 18-Wednesday, February 20 or a decorate a mask activity Thursday, February 21-Sunday, February 24 in the lobby prior to the show. Audience members can join the BlueMan tribe by choosing or creating their own design with glow-in-the-dark face painting or using various materials like feathers, gems and paint, they can create their very own mask that guests can wear during the show.
“Our show is unique in that establishing a connection between the Blue Men and the audience is an absolutely integral part of the experience,” said Jonathan Screnci, BlueManGroup Boston Resident General Manager. “Creatively designed masks and painted faces help unify the audience and the performers for the exciting, fun, and unpredictable journey they are about to take together.”
After all performances, guests are invited to stay and meet the Blue Men and take the ultimate selfie to add to their collection. Doors open one hour before each performance, and, in addition to the school vacation week special activities, there is also a full bar and interactive music and light installation created by BlueManGroup called the “Lounge-U-Lum.”
BlueManGroup Boston has also partnered with local Theater District restaurants to offer free food specials and discounts.
